Precious Memories provides a civil service to Celebrate the Life of a loved one, with dignity and understanding, on their passing.

Carole from Precious Memories is a Funeral Celebrant based where the three counties of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire meet and works with families throughout the area and also in South Shropshire and North Herefordshire.

The Funeral Service is a celebration of your loved ones life and to achieve this I will work with any Funeral Director that you choose – just let them know you want me as your Celebrant
When we have set a mutually convenient date myself and you (and your family) will devise the service together
We will look at musical choices, maybe prayers, maybe readings and maybe poems; it’s all your choice.
We will discuss whether you or your family/friends wish to stand up and say anything. Perhaps you have a talented member of the family who would like to contribute in some way perhaps singing or playing an instrument. I only ask that you don’t ask me to sing as I guarantee to clear the room in seconds.
We will talk about the deceased to enable me to write the tribute/eulogy. During this time we will dig deep into your thoughts, we will laugh and cry as you remember forgotten moments that represent your loved one.
We will maintain open channels of communication for you and your family so you can relay any extra thoughts and ideas that you have for the tribute.
As your Celebrant I am here to help and guide you through the process of devising the service by offering ideas and also implementing your ideas ensuring that every service is unique to the deceased; no copy and paste services here!
You will see a proof of the Tribute ahead of the service
We will talk about whether you are you having a wake to continue celebrating the life of your loved one and if you will be having a collection to charity in memory of your loved one.
Always remember no questions are silly questions if you think about it ask it
When the service is decided upon the Funeral Director will THEN compile the Order of Service Sheets
