From Rock Royalty to Drag Bingo: The Regal Ends July in Style

The Regal Theatre in Tenbury Wells is rounding off July with two unforgettable live events, offering audiences everything from rock history to outrageous entertainment.

On Saturday 25 July, the Regal welcomes THE MAGIC OF MIDLAND BEAT featuring Bev Bevan and Quill, before the venue transforms into a fun-filled party for Drag Bingo (16+) with Tequila Thirst on Friday 31 July. Both performances begin at 7.30pm.

Rock fans won’t want to miss The Magic of Midland Beat, starring Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Bev Bevan, founding member of The Move, Electric Light Orchestra and former drummer with Black Sabbath. Joining legendary Birmingham band Quill, Bev will perform hits spanning an extraordinary six-decade career, including classics such as Mr Blue Sky, Telephone Line, Flowers in the Rain and Blackberry Way. The show also celebrates the musical heritage of the Midlands with tributes to iconic artists including The Moody Blues, Slade, Duran Duran and Black Sabbath, making it a must-see evening for lovers of classic British rock.

The following Friday, audiences can swap air guitars for bingo cards as Tequila Thirst brings a high-energy Drag Bingo extravaganza to the Regal.

Designed for audiences aged 16 and over, the evening promises a unique blend of hilarious bingo games, live entertainment, music, laughter and prizes, all hosted by the sensational Tequila Thirst. Guests can also enjoy a specially created signature cocktail for the occasion, with everyone encouraged to embrace the party spirit by dressing in their most glamorous outfits, from sequins and feathers to neon and sparkle.
