Grey Wolf to return to The Regal Tenbury Wells once again

September 19th 7.30pm live at The Regal Tenbury Wells

Having played last April at The Regal Tenbury Wells, and again at this years Folk Festival, this hugely popular acoustic Americana/old-time folk band from the Welsh Marches are BACK!

Grey Wolf – Playing traditional instruments such as banjo, fiddle, guitar, dulcimer, mandolin and double bass alongside fine vocal and harmony singing. The band has headlined several of the prestigious UK’s Old Time American Music and Dance Festivals and has appeared on radio, at folk clubs, festivals, and music and literary venues throughout the UK.

Grey Wolf was born in 2010 when Jim Allen and Martin Thomas began playing as a duo blending their shared love of American old time music with British folk music. The band have worked with some great fiddle players over the years, including the richly talented Ben Walsh who also recorded and produced their latest album. More recent additions include versatile and experienced bass player, Andy Offer in 2021 and fine Americana and Old Time Fiddle player Richard Coleman in 2023. The band was completed with the addition of the wonderful vocalist and Appalachian dancer Rosie Green – also in 2023

‘The nice thing about our recent gigs is the number of new faces we’re seeing,’ says Andy Offer, Grey Wolf’s bass player, ‘We love to see our friends and regular supporters but its great to meet new people too.  We’re preparing a new show for September with new songs and tunes as well as the old favourites,’ he adds, ‘We want to keep people coming back for more!’
