Hanah Elizabeth has grown up surrounded by the beautiful landscape’s of the three counties (Herefordshire, Worcester & Shropshire) in a little town which encompasses all three within just a few miles, Tenbury Wells. She still lives close by with her nature obsessed son Alfie and the beautiful Oscar the dog.

The eldest daughter of artist Jim Bailey & Bernadette, a teacher, Hanah Elizabeth spent much of her childhood at creative workshops & learning as many new skills as possible. Her time as a teenager living with other families in the country helped inspire a love for country living. After studying at Hereford Sixth Form & Hereford Collage of Art, she digressed from her artistic practice for a few years, training as a chef & in horticulture but also kept a foot in the art world; teaching art classes, painting murals & writing & illustrating children’s books.

Hanah Elizabeth began working on The Painted Fern Studios 3 years ago unifying a love of nature & crafting beautiful products with their ethos of doing so in a sustainable, creative & intellectual based manner.

For over 10 years, Hanah Elizabeth has been producing hand painted murals for homes & businesses alike. Working closely with clients from design to completion, every piece of art work is created to enhance the décor & bring something truly unique to your chosen space.

Over the past 7 years, murals have been appearing in homes, businesses and windows through the streets of Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, depicting the heritage, people & the natural beauty of the area.
